Healthcare Honesty from a Dem: “I Don’t Worry About the Constitution”
Following the health care vote, Congress headed home. Representative Hare (D-IL), at least, deserves some credit for holding a town hall meeting and sticking around to answer questions. However, those answers are truly what have some in America up in arms. There is little doubt that Representative Hare believes that he made the right choice in voting for Obamacare and he offers allegorical evidence and calls himself a “dreamer” to support his vote. Dreams are really all he has to offer, as he demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of and absolute disregard for the Constitution of the United States is evident in his statements.
Each member of Congress has taken an oath to uphold the Constitution, and the founding laws of our country should be considered before each and every vote. Honesty is in short supply in Washington; at least one Representative has acknowledged and confirmed a fact we all knew, that our representatives “don’t worry about the Constitution.”
