Make Mine Freedom: A Postwar Take on Communism

Barely post-war 1948. Does this sound at all like today? With the current administration inching ever closer to Socialism/Communism, it is good to watch and see the “uglier side” of the utopic fix-all pill that we are being asked to swallow. Towards the end of the cartoon, you see the large cold hand of “The State” coming in to enforce compliance. We are made to think that the government (via ingestion of the “ism” potion) can make life easier. Just relax and trust your government: they can make it all better!
