Bertha Lewis: Defunding ACORN is Unconstitutional

Bertha Lewis, CEO of ACORN, spoke to the National Press Club and offered some insight into the lawsuit they have filed against the producers of an eposé of fraudulent practices at several ACORN offices.  It is interesting to see the head of an organization with ACORN’s track record expound on the virtues of lawfulness, and the necessity to hold others to the high standards to which ACORN is held.  The video culminates with a comment from Lewis that unfunding ACORN is unconstitutional.  Maybe that page is missing from my copy.

Unconstitutional eh? How about ACORN aiding in stripping young children of their fundamental HUMAN RIGHTS? How about 30 lawsuits for categorically breaking the law to promote a political agenda. How about using tax dollars to teach people how to AVOID paying taxes. ACORN is a cancer, it is everything that a free market hard-working republic should stand against.

What a freeking IDIOT! Bertha, Linda Tripp had all charges DROPPED!. For the law to be applicable there would have had to have been an “expectation of privacy”. You are saying that a person in a publicly accessible office has an EoP? if you are you are even MORE of an IDIOT!

As to the unconstitutional claim, I know the area you are thinking about and it does not apply to your organization. Wake up you stupid piece of _____.
