John Wayne: The Hyphen

John Wayne produced an album in the early 1970′s with a collection of patriotic readings. One that has made the rounds in print and audio through the years is The Hyphen. In a time when our country is so divided, the Duke’s sentiment may be more relevant today than ever. John Wayne captured in his prose the spirit of our country, while at the same time offering a warning about the dangers of segmenting our society.
