Dick Morris on the G20

The video below from Dick Morris discusses some of the concessions that were made at the G20 last week.  This process started in the spring, when the banking crisis was at its height, with talks about limiting executive compensation, and has continued to more concrete resolutions.  The Administration seems completely content to hand over a large segment of control to an international regulatory body run by diplomats, where the US’s influence is limited to 1 of 20 votes.

The G20 and IMF process creates yet another bureaucracy that is removed from the political oversight of our elected officials.  It is interesting, if true, that this could be done outside of a treaty process, where the Administration can sign America up for these controls, rather than taking an act of Congress and ratification by the states.
