Did Obama Speech Writers Dust Off an Old Healthcare Speech for the UN?
In his speech at the UN today, Obama seemed to hit some of the same themes that we hear ad nauseam from the President on healthcare.
To paraphrase: change has come. We must act now; it is imperative and can’t wait. Now, more than ever, we are closer to an agreement. Impressions are characterized by misinformation. We cannot fail to confront the status quo.
The more and more one listens to Obama, the more one-dimensional his speeches become. These same platitudes could not convince a grandmother in Duluth that healthcare was a good idea.; do you think that a terrorist half way around the world will suddenly change their impression of the United States?
