Ronald Reagan: Classic Footage as Relevant Today as Ever

Comments from 33 years ago on the dangers of nuclear arms are relevant again in that yesterday our Administration scrapped plans for the next generation of missile defense.  President Reagan’s comments are not only timely, but timeless.  America will always face threats and it is in words, ideas, and an indomitable sprit where America has been most successful in combating those threats; her greatest strength lies in a commonality of purpose, born out by American values. T he true meaning of We The People is no more or less important now as it was 200 years ago, and as it was 30 years ago.  This is a principle that places our government securely and uniquely in the hands of her citizens and it need not be changed, unless that change is to bring Common Sense and the wisdom of our founding documents back into the public debate.
