Do We Really Want These People In Charge of Our Health Care?

Posted on 07. Sep, 2009 by James in American Politics

The video is an excerpt of a hearing on oversight at the Federal Reserve. The clip of a confused and inept inspector general has already received 1.5 million views on Youtube. Disturbing as it is for its implications into the health of that agency, it is even more telling when viewed in light of asking the question “will mismanagement be any less in a massive government health care system?”

Try driving by a public housing project near you and ask, do we want these people to administer our health care? Would you entrust your healthcare to the post office civil servants? How about health care that is run as efficiently as Amtrak? Fannie and Freddie have been a great success…right? After this insight into management at the Federal Reserve, do you think is there any function that the government can run better than private enterprise?
